My first attempt at steam blocking. I hope I hit it with enough heat, but not too much; I didn't want to kill the yarn. Pretty impressed with the pooling too, it stayed remarkably consistent through the entire project.
This was a pretty basic blanket, just cast on 155 stitches and worked it in a pattern called Diamonds from “Knit Stitch Dictionary” by Debbie Tomkies. Stopped when it was as long as I wanted it to be.
Pattern: Improvised
Yarn: Loops & Threads Snuggly Wuggly Big!
Needle: 4.5mm
Gauge: 18 stitches and 27 rows = 10 cm
Current Weather
19C and partly cloudy.
