Slightly Unconventional Blanket

I went a little unconventional with my latest baby blanket creation. I think it would appeal to an avid hunter, if he or she should have an expanding family. Worked up in entrelac using both a solid and a variegated yarn. Then a simple single crochet border. This one is fairly small at 66cm X 66cm (26" X 26") so appropriate for a newborn.

Pattern: Improvised
Yarn: Craft Smart Value Ombres in Desert and Craft Smart Value Solids in Brown
Needle: 5.5mm
Gauge: Not Critical

Current Weather
8C and mostly cloudy. Finally a break from the cold and snow. Hopefully there is some melting as we're running out of places to put the snow and more is due to arrive tomorrow.
